This work began with the elegant sculptural forms of Lladro, which I dismantled and reassembled into a new visual structure. No longer confined to a single, complete form, the figures are fragmented into distinct pieces that generate a new order. A woman and a butterfly, an angel and clouds, and a girl playing the cello each carry their own symbols and meanings, yet within the image they are connected through a shared sensibility. As these disparate forms collide, overlap, and merge, a new scene emerges one that departs from the original imagery. I came to see broken forms not as incomplete, but as another means of expressing emotion. At the moment a form is dismantled, previously hidden sensations and tensions are revealed, functioning like a new visual language. Through this work, I seek to reconsider the relationship between form and emotion and to reveal the sensations that exist beyond what is visible. Deconstructed beauty does not disappear; it continues to exist in another form.
