Today, digital images can be transformed into artistic materials through effective processing, making them a creative tool for artists. However, the legacy of traditional photographic aesthetics continues to shape the landscape of photography. This exhibition explores the essence of photography, expanded into the realm of digital imagery.

 

Photography has transcended its role as a mere record, evolving into an artistic language that reflects the artist’s thoughts and interpretations. It captures the essence of existence, even amidst an abundance of artificial images. In this age of digital proliferation, photography stands as a testament to human emotion and the weight of reality.

 

This exhibition delves into the changing identity of photography in the digital environment, examining its expansion as a visual art form. Through the “DNA of Photography,” we explore the intersection of technology and emotion, contemplating the utilization of images and their transformation into art.

L'ADN de la photographie

 

À l’ère du numérique, l’image, par le raffinement de ses traitements, peut se transformer en

matériau artistique reconnu comme outil de création par les artistes eux-mêmes. Parallèlement,

l’héritage de l’esthétique photographique traditionnelle continue de se transmettre. C’est à cette

intersection que nous portons notre attention, afin d’explorer l’essence d’une photographie élargie à

l’univers de l’image numérique.

La photographie a dépassé le simple registre du document pour devenir un langage artistique

porteur de réflexion et d’interprétation. Elle conserve la trace de l’existence et, même dans un

monde saturé d’images artificielles, demeure le témoin de la sensibilité humaine et du poids du réel.

Cette exposition met en lumière l’identité de la photographie, transformée par l’environnement

numérique, ainsi que son expansion en tant qu’art visuel, à travers l’« ADN de la photographie »

que constitue l’existence. À la frontière entre la technologie et la sensibilité, nous invitons à

réfléchir ensemble à l’usage de l’image et à sa transmutation en art.
