Arrival
“Arrival 도착 혹은 새로운 시작을 의미하는 이 단어는 나의 작업이 담고 있는 감정과 상상 그리고 존재의 전환을 상징한다. 최근 몇년간 나는 수많은 일들을 겪으며 작은 변화들을 맞이해 왔다. 그리고 지금 그 어느때보다 안정된 시선으로 새로운 변화의 문을 바라보고 있다.
사진작업을 지속하며 나는 주변의 수많은 대상들에 대해 깊은 관심과 궁금점을 갖게 되었고 그 중에서도 건축물의 물성과 형태가 가진 매력에 이끌리게 되었다. 비어 있는 하얀 도화지는 늘 나에게 가능성과 질문을 동시에 가져왔다. 무엇을 보고 싶은가?무엇을 담고 싶은가?
나는 눈앞에 놓인 현실의 풍경을 넘어 그것을 이루고 있는 건축물 유닛의 결합을 통해 새로운 세계를 그리고자 했다. 특히 인간이 만들 수 없는 거대한 자연속에서 흘러가는 빛과 구름은 내게 있어 그릴 수 있는 영혼이자 꿈이며 작품의 또다른 주체다. 나는그 위에 꿈꾸는 도시를 구축했다. 그것은 이상이 머무는 공간이자 미지의 세계가 시작되는 경계다.
‘Arrival’은 내가 도달한 내면의 지점이자 그 위에서 다시 시작되는 상상의 미래다. 구름과 대지 빛과 구조물들이 얽히며 만들어낸 이 공간속에서 우리는 또다른 현실의 가능성을 마주하게 될것이다.

Arrival
“Arrival,” a word that signifies arrival or a new beginning, encapsulates the emotions, imagination, and transitions of existence that permeate my work. Over the past few years, I’ve experienced numerous changes and faced small shifts, and now I approach the threshold of new beginnings with a newfound stability.
As I continued to explore photography, I became increasingly fascinated by the objects around me, particularly the allure of architectural materials and forms. The blank white canvas always presented me with possibilities and questions: what I wanted to capture, what I wanted to convey.
My goal was to create a new world by combining the architectural units that make up the landscape of reality before me. The vast nature, with its flowing light and clouds, became a source of inspiration and a dream that I could translate onto canvas. I envisioned building a dream city atop this ethereal landscape, a space where ideals reside and an unknown world begins.
“Arrival” represents the inner point I’ve reached and the imaginary future that emerges from it. Within this realm created by the intertwining of clouds, earth, light, and structures, we encounter the possibility of another reality.
