Cinderella 

I question what freedom truly means in a woman’s life. The women in my work wear flat shoes instead of high heels — a quiet rejection of the standards of beauty imposed by society, and a choice to return to one’s own body, comfort, and rhythm. The flat shoe is more than a sign of comfort; it symbolizes liberation from external expectations and appearance-driven pressure. It embodies a woman’s will to move freely, to exist on her own terms. This work speaks of authenticity rather than glamour, and of inner ease rather than perfection. The quiet steps of these women reveal a new kind of Cinderella — one who walks not toward fantasy, but toward her own freedom.

Cendrillon 

Je m’interroge sur ce que signifie réellement la liberté dans la vie d’une femme. Les femmes que je représente portent des chaussures plates plutôt que des talons hauts — un refus discret des normes de beauté imposées, et un retour à leur propre corps, à la simplicité et au confort. La chaussure plate est bien plus qu’un signe de commodité ; elle incarne la libération des attentes extérieures et des contraintes liées à l’apparence. Elle exprime la volonté d’une femme de marcher librement, selon son propre rythme. Mon travail parle d’authenticité plutôt que d’éclat, de sérénité intérieure plutôt que de perfection. Les pas silencieux de ces femmes évoquent une Cendrillon nouvelle — non pas celle qui court vers un rêve, mais celle qui avance vers sa liberté.
