시간의풍경 / Landscape of Time 

 

백자는 수 백년의 

시간을 품은 하나의 존재이며, 

역사를 기억하는 사물이다 

나는 이 작업이 단순히 백자의형태를 기록하는데 머무르지 않고, 

백자를 중첩으로 수 많은 시간이 켜켜이 쌓이며 남긴 흔적과 손길, 시선, 그리고 기억의 퇴적이 하나의 화면속에 

교차한다 

백자는 과거와 현재가 겹쳐지고 

현실과 기억이 중첩되는 시간의 풍경이다 

흐릿하게 번지는 경계와 겹쳐지는 형상들은 기억이 

결코 선명한 기록이 아니라 수 많은 잔상들의 집합임을 보여준다. 

나는 이 작업을 통해 사물이 품고있는 시간의 깊이와 그 시간을 

바라보고 탐색 하고자 했다. 

이 작품은 

백자를 찍은 사진이 아니라 

백자 속에 축적된 

시간과 기억의 초상이다

White porcelain is a presence that holds centuries of time with in it, an object that carries the memory of history. This work does not simply document the form of white porcelain. Through the layering of its image, traces left by countless passages of time touches, gazes, and accumulated m emories intersect within a single frame. White porcelain becomes a landscape of time in which past and p resent overlap, and reality and memory are superimposed. The blurred boundaries and overlapping forms reveal that memory is never a clear and fixed record, but an accumulation of countless afterimages. Through this work, I seek to contemplate and explore the depth of time held within an object. This is not a photograph of white porcelain, but a portrait of the time and memory accumulated within it.
