Decisive Moment 

In the ordinary flow of days — where yesterday feels like today, and today like tomorrow — each moment seems meaningless. Yet, when we look back, we realize that these quiet scenes are the very moments that hold change within them. Watching a bud sprout, leaves grow, and flowers bloom and wither, the process appears repetitive, but countless transformations unfold in between. Even when a scene seems unchanged, it carries the decisive moments of birth, growth, and disappearance. If photography is the act of capturing a moment within the continuity of time, then every captured image — however ordinary it may seem — inevitably contains all that came before and all that will follow

Moment Décisif 

Dans le cours ordinaire des jours — où hier ressemble à aujourd’hui et aujourd’hui à demain — chaque instant paraît dépourvu de sens. Pourtant, en y repensant, on découvre que ces scènes banales sont en réalité les moments décisifs du changement. Observer une graine germer, une feuille pousser, une fleur s’ouvrir puis se faner semble répétitif, mais d’innombrables transformations s’y cachent. Même lorsqu’une image paraît identique à la précédente, elle porte en elle la naissance, la mutation et la disparition. Si la photographie consiste à saisir un instant dans la continuité du temps, alors chaque image capturée — aussi ordinaire soit-elle — contient nécessairement tout ce qui la précède et tout ce qui la suit.

결정적 순간 

어제 같은 오늘과 오늘 같은 내일이 이어지는 평범한 일상 속에서 모든 순간은 지극히 무의미해 보인다. 

그러나 뒤돌아보면 이 평범한 장면들이 결국에는 변화를 담아내는 결정적 순간들이다. 

싹이 트고 잎이 자라고 꽃이 피고 지는 과정을 지켜보노라면 늘 똑같은 장면들이 이어지는 듯 하지만 무수한 변화의 순간들이 그 속에 들어있다. 

꽃이 피고 지는 동안 하나의 장면은 그 이전의 장면과 똑같아 보여도 결국에는 탄생과 변화와 

죽음의 결정적 순간이 된다. 

사진이 시간의 연속성 속에서 순간을 포착해내는 작업이라면, 포착된 그 순간은 비록 평범해 보일지라도 그 이전과 이후의 모든 과정을 담고 있는 결정적 순간임이 분명하리라
