구름이 머무는 등대, The Lighthouse Where Clouds Rest
삶은 때로 구름 위를 걷는 일과 닮아 있다. 발아래는 선명하지 않고, 나아갈 길은 안개에 가려 보이지 않을 때도 있다. 현실의 무게에 지칠 때 우리는 본능처럼 기댈 곳을 찾는다. 이 작업은 그런 순간에 마주하는 길잡이와 쉼에 대한 이야기다.
화면 속 등대는 중심을 지키는 존재다. 흔들리는 마음을 붙잡아 주는 이정표이자, 어둠 속에서도 방향을 잃지 않게 하는 빛이다. 그 곁에 머무는 구름은 위태로운 삶을 감싸는 공간이 된다. 끊임없이 변하는 구름이 정적인 등대 옆에 머무는 순간, 거친 숨은 잠시 멈추고 조용한 쉼이 찾아온다.
작품에 드리운 그림자는 또 다른 나를 상징한다. 붙잡을 수 없지만 분명 존재하는 마음의 일부다. 방황과 욕망, 미처 알지 못했던 감정은 그림자처럼 따라다닌다. 그러나 그림자가 있다는 것은 빛이 있다는 뜻이기도 하다. 번뇌 역시 희망의 빛 안에서 다스려질 수 있는 삶의 흔적이다.
마지막으로 떠오르는 달은 하루의 끝에서 만나는 평온이다. 등대와 달빛 아래에서 우리는 잠시 숨을 고르고 다시 나아갈 힘을 얻는다. 구름이 머무는 그 자리에서, 삶은 다시 시작될 준비를 한다.
— 雲がとどまる灯台
人生はときに、雲の上を歩くことに似ている。足元ははっきりせず、進むべき道が霧に覆われて見えないこともあ る。現実の重さに疲れたとき、私たちは本能のように寄りかかる場所を探す。この作業は、そうした瞬間に出会う 導きと休息についての物語である。 画面の中の灯台は、中心を保つ存在である。揺れる心を支える標であり、闇の中でも方向を見失わないように導く 光である。その傍らに漂う雲は、不安定な人生を包み込む空間となる。絶えず形を変える雲が静かな灯台のそばに とどまるとき、荒い呼吸は一瞬静まり、穏やかな休息が訪れる。 作品に落ちる影は、もう一人の自分を象徴している。掴むことはできないが確かに存在する心の一部である。彷徨 いや欲望、まだ気づいていなかった感情は影のように付きまとう。しかし影があるということは、光があることで もある。煩悩もまた、希望の光の中で受け止められる人生の痕跡である。 最後に浮かび上がる月は、一日の終わりに訪れる安らぎである。灯台と月の光の下で、私たちは一度呼吸を整え、 再び進む力を得る。雲がとどまるその場所で、人生は再び始まる準備をしている。
The Lighthouse Where Clouds Rest
Life can feel like walking on clouds. The ground beneath us is uncertain, and the path ahead is sometimes hidden in mist. When the weight of reality grows heavy, we instinctively search for something to lean on. This work speaks of the guide and the place of rest we encounter in such moments.
In the image, the lighthouse stands as a steady center. It is a marker of hope that helps us hold ourselves together when we feel lost. The clouds gathered around it become a space that gently embraces our fragile lives. When the ever-changing clouds pause beside the still lighthouse, our restless breath slows, and a quiet sense of calm emerges.
The shadows within the work represent another part of the self. They cannot be grasped, yet they undeniably exist. Like wandering thoughts and unspoken desires, they follow us quietly. Yet the presence of shadow also proves the presence of light. Even our worries and longings can be understood as traces shaped within a larger light of hope.
The moon that appears at the end suggests a peaceful refuge after a long day. Beneath the lighthouse and moonlight, we pause, regain strength, and prepare to move forward once again. In the place where clouds come to rest, life gathers the energy to begin anew.
