준비되지 않은 풍경, Unprepared Landscape
밭에는 수많은 비닐하우스가 늘어서 있다. 그 비닐하우스들이 맞닿는 사이에는 누구도 의도하지 않았고, 오래 바라보지 않는 작은 공간이 남는다. 빛이 완전히 들어오지도, 완전히 가려지지도 않는 그 자리에서 잡초들은 조용히 뿌리를 내린다.
나는 그 틈을 발견했다. 계획되지 않은 공간이지만 분명 생명이 머무는 자리다. 비닐에 스며든 습기와 시간의 얼룩, 겹쳐진 투명함 속에서 식물은 선명한 형상이 아니라 흔적으로 남아 있다.
이 이미지는 무엇을 증명하려 하지 않는다. 다만 아무도 준비하지 않았던 풍경 속에서 삶이 어떻게 이어지는지를 바라본다. 보이지 않는 조건 속에서도 생명은 사라지지 않고 조용히 자리를 지킨다.
이 작은 생명들을 바라보며 나는 각자의 삶을 떠올린다. 주목받지 않는 자리에서도 저마다의 방식으로 살아간다는 사실을 생각한다. 이 작업은 준비되지 않은 풍경에 대한 기록이며, 그곳에 머무는 존재들에게 보내는 조용한 인사다.

In the fields, countless greenhouses stand in rows.
Between them lie small spaces places no one intentionally created and few ever stop to observe. In these narrow gaps, where light is neither fully present nor completely blocked, weeds quietly take root.
I discovered those in-between spaces.
They are unplanned, yet undeniably inhabited by life. Moisture clings to the plastic sheets, and stains of time gather on their surfaces. Within layers of transparency, plants remain not as clear forms but as traces.
This image does not attempt to prove anything.
It simply observes how life continues within a landscape that no one prepared. Even under unseen conditions, life does not disappear. It quietly holds its ground.
As I look at these small lives, I think of our own. Even in places that go unnoticed, each of us survives in our own way. This work is a record of an unprepared landscape a quiet greeting to the beings that dwell within it.
